Kshipra Shukla is an Indian Politician, a social worker born on 28th September, is a Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design & Research , Govt of UP since 2017
She has extensively worked amongst the Artisan-Weaver Community, empowering a large number of women in Uttar Pradesh. She is also Co-Convenor, Weaver-Artisan Cell of Bhartiya Janta Party, Uttar Pradesh. Founder Trustee of Federation of Indian Weavers & Artisans (FIWA), a trust working for the upliftment of the grassroot level artisans & weavers, also runs an NGO “Aayush” which works in the Skill Sector . She became an active member of Bhartiya Janta Party and Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi (ABVP) since college days .
Political Career
She was made Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Institute of Design & Research , Govt of UP in 2017 which took a major leap after she was appointed Chairman .There was a visionary and modern thought process behind the success story of UPIDR. The institution which , lost his existence in the MSME department itself, marked its presence in 35 districts after tireless effort and connected lacs of families and women which gave her a special identity. By the efforts of Kshipra Shukla , lakhs of artisans weavers/women artisan have been motivated to strengthen them by employment generation and the sensitivity towards them. She is known for her popularity among the artisans-weavers, because of her endless efforts of connecting them to employment. Looking at her remarkable contribution in BJP, she was made State Co-Convenor of Weaver & Artisan Cell of BJP Uttar Pradesh in 2021.
Early Life & Education
Kshipra Shukla was born on 28th September in Lucknow in a Brahmin political family having roots in village Rudauli, district Ayodhya ,UP.
Before coming into politics , she was associated with the export industry for more than 15 years .
Productive thought process, firm determination to reform the product of artisans and weavers, inspiration for women to come out of their houses and stand by which the men of their families was a new phase of her life.
This thought process does not evolve in a day, the foundation was laid by the family values imbedded in her . Her father Ram Kumar Shukla was closely associated with RSS, won his first election in 1989 from Lucknow West from BJP when there were only 16th BJP MLA’s in UP. He was 3 term MLA and became the chairman of co- operative, from then only Kshipra Shukla got closely connected with BJP and ABVP and became politically active. Through her NGO, AAYUSH she took a lead in social work and connected thousands of women with employment.
Personal Life
She has one sister and one brother .
She is married to Avinash Sharma .
